Terms of service

These Terms of service govern the use of the PetTag website and app (the "Service"), operated by PetTag ("we").

By creating an account, activating a tag or using any feature of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

PetTag sells physical tags with a unique ID, available in stores and partner points of sale. When scanned, anyone can access a public page ("rescue page") showing the information the owner has chosen to display to help locate the pet.

Activating a tag requires creating an account and linking it to the pet's details and at least one emergency contact.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide about yourself, your pet and your emergency contacts, and for keeping your account access confidential.

You must have the consent of any third party whose contact details you add as an emergency contact.

You may not use the Service to enter false information, impersonate others, post unlawful or offensive content or content that infringes third-party rights, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or tags that are not yours.

PetTag may suspend or deactivate a tag or account if it detects use contrary to these Terms.

PetTag provides a channel of contact between whoever finds a pet and its owner, but does not guarantee that a pet will be located or recovered, nor uninterrupted availability of the Service.

To the extent permitted by law, PetTag is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

The PetTag name, tag design, software and website content belong to PetTag or its licensors. No license is granted over them beyond using the Service in accordance with these Terms.

We may update these Terms to reflect legal or Service changes. We will publish the current version on this page along with the last updated date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept it.

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts under applicable consumer protection rules.
