Each PetTag tag has a unique ID. If your pet gets lost, whoever finds it uses their phone to reach a page with your contact details and the medical information you've chosen to share — no app required.

Where can I buy a tag?

PetTag tags are sold in pet stores and partner points of sale. Once you have one, activate it in a few minutes on our website using the code printed on the tag.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Neither you nor whoever finds your pet needs to install anything. Everything works from the phone's browser, both to activate the tag and to get in touch with you.

What information can whoever finds my pet see?

Accepted Answer

Only what you choose to show: your pet's name, your contact details (phone and/or WhatsApp) and any critical medical information you've added. Your full personal details are never shown publicly.

What if I lose or break the tag?

Can I change the contact details after activating it?

Yes, any time from your dashboard: you can update your pet's information, add or remove emergency contacts, and change the medical information.

Yes. The rescue page is available in several languages and works from any country — you just need an internet connection to scan the code.
